Border Wars - United States versus Canada - is a unique event that brings world class mounted shooting competitors from across the U.S. and Canada for a three day rivalry. It will be held at the prestigious Horseshoe Park in Queen Creek, Arizona, January 22-24, 2016. The event is a competition but is also a great spectator experience. Competitors of all ages carry two .45 caliber pistols loaded wi

th black powder blanks, ride beautifully tacked horses, and take aim at 10 balloon targets. Riding at full speed while maneuvering through a course is exciting to behold. There will be lots of opportunity to see real cowboys and cowgirls all day Saturday and Sunday. There is a special 'Showcase of Champions' on Saturday evening at 6p.m. This event is free to the public. So come on out !
