BF Boys Volleyball Season Recap:

What a fun first year I’ve had at as a first time Boy’s Varsity Head Coach! Something I’ve always dreamed about heading up a boys program and couldn’t be any prouder of the things we’ve accomplished this season!

We just fell short in the 1st Round of playoffs to a very good final four team, BF’s second time in the playoffs!

We finished with a 20-10 overall record, winning the 4A East Valley Region without dropping a set! BF was also honored with a Region Player of the Year, Region Defensive Player of the Year, 3 First Team All Regions, and 2 Second Team All Regions!

I was also voted Region Coach of the Year by my fellow Region Coaches!! This was only possible to my assistant coaches who worked w me all season, the culture we’ve built, the boys and the way they Represented BF Boys Volleyball, and all the supporters of our program!!! Truly grateful for the opportunity!!

As always, a big shout out to my beautiful wife for her love and support for the passion I have for coaching volleyball! Love you!!

4th Place this weekend in Reno.

Just missed out on getting a USA bid by 1 spot. I am incredibly proud of the team and how we fought and grinded our way through each match. I have to say this was our best performance so far at a national qualifier!!

Always a great time coaching with the bros- and ! Definitely the best coaching staff around!

SO CLOSE!!!

Proud of our effort on Day 3 with these girls, but just fell short by 4 points!! Aspire 17 Premier finishes 6-1 on the weekend and T5th in the 17USA Division. Love that we continue to grow as a team and get better at volleyball… and we definitely got better as the tournament went on!!

Aside from winning/losing, I love the process that we’re in as a team, love learning more and more about ways we can score points, and love the grind that comes with getting better!!

Much love to my assistant coaches, and most especially my wife and family!! Ready to get back into our gym and get better!!

Third place for BFHS Boys Volleyball at the Epic Tourneys Invite!

Proud of what we did this weekend!! Aspire 17 Premier finished T9th in the Gold Bracket at our first qualifier of the season!!! We just fell short of securing a bid this time, but seeing the competitiveness and the growth of this team week in and week out!

Region Open #4 next weekend and AZNQs in 2 weeks!!!

Shout out to my assistants and for their hard work this weekend!! It is so much fun coaching with you guys!! And loved hanging out with the KBBQ crew and !

Most of all, I appreciate my wife for coming and supporting my team all weekend— even on our anniversary!!! Love you!!!

Concluded a weekend of coaching volleyball with my Aspire 17 Premier team finishing 2-1 for the day and moving up a division! Vegas in 2 weeks with this team for our first qualifier!!!!! So much fun to end the day with an all Aspire match!!!
