Hearing a camper say he wants to work at 5 Mile Camp when he grows up is the sweetest reminder that camp is about so much more than just having fun. It’s about the memories they make, the confidence they build, and the moments that stick with them long after summer is over. ⛺️❤️

As another incredible summer comes to an end, we want to say THANK YOU to our amazing counselors.

Your patience, energy, and kindness made such a difference to every camper this summer. Whether you were leading games, helping a homesick camper, cheering kids on, or just being someone they could look up to, you helped make camp an unforgettable experience. The memories you created will stick with these kids for years to come.

Thank you for giving your summer to 5 Mile Camp. We couldn’t do this without each and every one of you, and we are so grateful for all you’ve done. We hope you know how much you’re appreciated. Have a wonderful school year!! 💙🏕️
