Board meeting starts on September 14th at 6:30pm. All members and guests are welcome to attend. The September Work Party is set for September 19th. Start time is 9:00am.
First off, BROADHEAD tipped arrows are not to be used on the member’s range. Broadhead arrows damage our foam targets and shorten the targets’ lifespan. These targets cost well over $700.00 apiece. The only place broadhead tipped arrows are allowed is in the sandpits. You must bring your own block targets and clean up the shredded foam when you are done.
If you notice anyone on our courses or the flat range using broadhead-tipped arrows, ask them to stop immediately. They can be trespassed from our property.
This month’s work party goals will be discussed and set during the meeting. While we have plenty to do, this great weather is not going to last much longer. There is at least one dead tree on our property line that needs immediate attention.
Getting the permit to start building the storage building is close. Once the permit is granted the first phase for 2026/27 will be getting the building pad poured. Once that work has been completed and paid for, we will work on getting the building ordered and delivered. The standup of the building will be all volunteer work. It will be built in phases. Trusses first, then the roof structure followed by the wall siding.
The State Fair is full on with great weather so far. If you haven't signed up for a shift at the "Try Archery" venue you should consider it a great way to see the fair. Entry and Parking is provided. Snacks while volunteering are provided. Before or after your shift you are free to "Do the Puyallup".
