Happy Friday!

I have been meaning to make an announcement:

I have officially been selected and have accepted a role as a Legionnaire with 1st Phorm!

I am beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity.

With Weight Movers starting to pick up here, I will be aiming to help more people with their health and fitness moving forward.

I am stoked because now aside from being able to offer expert training advice, monthly check ins, custom workout programs and custom macronutrient adjustment, I can now suggest a supplement company I stand by.

I got a bunch of their stuff in and love all of it. I will post more about what each product is and why I like it later.

Also, moving forward I will be sharing more of what my group and I do in the gym.

Slight change in the logo here. I think this what we will stick with.

Accountability: The fact or condition if being accountable; responsibility.

Accountability is the obligation to explain, justify, and take responsibility for one's actions. Accountability is the state of being accountable, meaning responsible for something or obligated to answer to someone, such as a person with more authority, like a boss.

This person should first and foremost, be YOURSELF. We find ourselves upset with our current affairs and/or environment when we KNOW we are not accountable to our inner BOSS. The BOSS KNOWS what needs to get done to work towards the goals we have set forth.

It is up to us to listen to that BOSS voice in our head. It is up to us to control that whiny, quitter, soft ass voice in our head that tells us easier is better, and that tells us it is OK to not keep going when s**t gets HARD.

When s**t gets HARD in our lives, it is more important than ever to be our own inner BOSS and handle what we KNOW we need to handle.

Whether it is our 2nd workout of the day, meal prep, answering emails, or checking in with your training partner, we know we need to handle business.

So why does it seems easier for some to fire on all cylinders and be ACCOUNTABLE, day in and day out?

Because people who are accountable, have developed the DISCIPLINE, GRIT, and MENTAL FORTITUDE required to do the small things, DAILY, that equate to positive results over time.

Almost NOTHING great comes fast and easy. So get used to results taking some TIME and HARD WORK!

We all want to better ourselves. It NEVER feels good to slip backwards. And if you aren't moving forward, that is exactly what you are doing. If you aren't getting better, you are getting worse.

I don't want to admit it, but I have let myself get WORSE for about the last 8 months. I have worked out about 4 times since we all got hit by lockdowns and saw our gyms close.

This is the absolute worst shape I have ever been in as an adult and I am upset about it. It has been deteriorating my mental strength and negatively effected every other aspect of my life.

Through this past year, I have gained perspective of those who have not been taking care of their bodies. I have become the very same person I have always aimed to help.

A few days ago, I had a conversation with myself and I decided enough was enough.

I am not the type of guy that enjoys taking pictures of myself. This was taken after my "first" workout back in the gym. The pain was real and recovery has been rough. I will continue to post my own journey and goals here moving forward.

I can only imagine what YEARS off or never having seriously worked out consistently would feel like, but I have now gotten a taste.

I have some big goals for 2021 physically and in business. I also run [see my hat]. We are looking to grow that as well.

I am a firm believer that positive change all starts with the mind. And I think there is no better place to develop the mental toughness and discipline we need to succeed in all aspects of life, than the gym.

As simple as it may sound, if you can move some weight EVERY DAMN DAY, everything else becomes easier.

Lots of small, CONSISTENT, steps forward, add up to major change over time. There is no secret to reaching a goal. You just have to make a plan and put in the WORK, day in and day out. If you need help with any of this, Weight Movers is here for you.

My name is Jason and I would like to introduce myself and lay out some of my goals for Weight Movers.

I am a Baseball Player at heart. As a big 6'6" LHP in college throwing in the high 80's to low 90's, I was used to getting the attention of many professional scouts.

My Freshman year in college went well, and that summer, I traveled from WA State to Massachusetts to play in the North Shore League.

By that August, my world would be turned upside down. I would end up tearing my Ulnar Collateral Ligament, resulting in the need for Tommy John Surgery that Fall.

Thankfully, I got the Mariners Team Dr, that had performed 300 TJ Surgeries prior to mine. I was in good hands but had a LONG road to go.

At that time, I enrolled in the brand new Exercise Physiology program at school. I studied my ass off and became my own first "Client" in the gym. I also took my first job training others at a local gym, and fell in love with helping people.

18 months later, I was playing for my school again. The season went well, but our Coach got fired, stranding most of us looking to transfer.

I then got the opportunity of a life time, as the Assistant GM of the Phillies organization offered me a Contract and a ticket to Spring Training 2010 in Florida.

After performing well in Spring, I felt good about moving forward as a PRO! All of that training had paid off! Then, I walked into the yard one morning and got my plane ticket home, just like that.

I have since gotten one other Pro Contract for a team out of the Frontier League, but ran up lots of debt chasing the dream. However, I have stayed in the gym and gained a lot of experience training myself and others over the years.

Since I started training in 2007, I have Trained thousands of clients at 4 gyms.

As traditional in-gym training has shifted over the years, to more of a hybrid online model, I have wanted to start up my own business and reach more people.

Weight Movers will be the vehicle I will develop to do just that. We are just getting going, but will be trying to grow into something awesome, while helping out lots of people in Fitness.

Happy Friday everyone! I am gonna keep it short but want everyone to know that Weight Movers is officially in motion and is accepting clients for both in gym, and mobile/remote training! Are you stuck in a rut? Do you feel like you go to the gym consistently without getting the results you really want? Have you never worked out after high school? We are based out of New Level 360 in Puyallup, at the South Hill Mall for all in person consultations and workouts. I can train 1 at a time or 50! Hey everyone! Sorry for all the new page invites but Facebook wouldn't let me change the name of Next Level Training so here we are. I have left my "job" to pursue business ownership full time and naturally gravitate towards the fitness industry. We are setting up shop at New Level 360 for all in person services but we are also offering MOBILE fitness consulting. I come to you once a month for measurements, custom programming and guidance and you save a ton of money over training in person multiple times a week and I am available to you at any time. If you need in person sessions they are absolutely available at New Level 360. All programs get cheaper the longer you commit and the more training partners you bring with you. You don't even need a membership to train with me and New Level 360! However, it is just $20/mo no contract if you would like one!
For those of you who don't know yet, I have been training people as a professional now for over 12 years, and have literally worked with thousands of people in this industry. I am comfortable with all walks of life and all fitness levels, as well as any musculoskeletal injury, or any age. I have undergone multiple surgeries myself, studied exercise sciences in college while playing baseball, gone on to play professionally after my injury and have trained people in the gym for over a decade ever since. I have also ran multiple clubs and built some solid teams of amazing trainers that you may just see on this page down the road. With my experience, I believe firmly that everyone should be lifting weights. Not everyone needs a 500lb bench or a 750lb deadlift but resistance training is a critical component to any solid fitness program, there is no way around it. Too many people have been taught simple energy balance and to just go blast out a ton of cardio thinking that is what will get them or keep them lean. You tend to do what you know and what is comfortable. I want to break you of that! Results are earned by being uncomfortable!
