CT Districts 11 and 12 Little League

We will hold our Tournament Meeting Thursday May 25th 7:00 PM at the Elks Club in Willimantic. All leagues must send a representative to this meeting. The agenda will review and discuss:

•Affidavit and eligibility process
•Sign off all combination requests
•Waivers
•Umpire requirements
•Hosts for Sectionals and States
•Random Draw for bracket placement (aka: seeding)
•Determine dates for affidavit signing and managers/coaches meetings

We will need to confirm all the teams entering the tournament at this meeting. 13+ Age groups will probably get some additional time as their seasons are just starting, however, we will still look to identify any and all possibilities.

If you do not feel you have enough players to compete in specific divisions and would like to explore combining with another town, please contact Brian Hanlon

In Memory of Larry Gagne

On June 5, 2016 our District 11 and 12 Umpire Coordinator, Larry Gagne, passed away. Those of us who had the great fortune of knowing Larry recognize him as a true champion of Little League Baseball.

Larry was involved in local LLBB for over 25 years as a coach, board member and past president of Pomfret Little League. he also served for ten plus years on the District 11 and 12 Staff. As a direct result of Larry’s commitment to Little League BB we have had numerous crews of volunteer umpires step in and step up and dedicate hundreds of hours so thousands of Tournament games could be played with full crews of trained LL umpires giving their best.

This year’s Tournament is dedicated to Larry. RIP #91 we promise your efforts will continue to reward Little League Baseball for years to come.
