SAILING FRIENDS: Absolute is looking for 2 experienced helmsmen for the Chicago Mackinac Race. The person should be comfortable steering with a tiller on a yacht with a triple spreader rig. We are also looking for a foredeck person. Ideally you would be located in Southeast Michigan to have helm time before the race. Absolute is docked at North Star Sail Club and races on Tuesdays for the AYC Series. Please contact me if you are interested or know of someone who may be interested. Super Mac Returns
Official Documents Available Soon

We are very excited to announce that in partnership with Chicago Yacht Club and Port Huron Yacht Club, the Super Mac Race will be returning in 2015. Special thanks to Port Huron Yacht Club for manning the finish line. The Super Mac doesn't happen often, so make sure to take advantage of it while you can!

Official documents and entry forms will be available soon. Stay tuned.

The crew was thinking about renting a limo for the BYC Awards Party in September, but then we read this disclaimer:
Note: There is a $150 charge for vomit or extra cleaning time. "HAZARDOUS MATERIAL CLEAN UP: In the case that something happens when in the vehicle, there will be a $200.00 fine for the sanitation and cleaning of the vehicle. This is a fee that is necessary because of the hazardous nature of bodily fluids. This does not pertain to vomit as it is a separate clean up fee."
