**Enhanced Severe Weather Threat Wednesday**

I am not sugar coating it folks...have a severe weather plan ready for tomorrow. The Storm Prediction Center has put our area in one of the bigger tornado and hail threats we have had in a long time. Tornadoes will have the potential of being longer lasting than normal. Hail stones will have the potential of reaching the size of a golf ball or larger. There is uncertainty yet, and hopefully the forecast busts...but, I am telling all of you what I am telling my family...be prepared tomorrow! Have a weather source on the go that you trust. Severe weather is possible between 10am and 8pm, and at least two rounds of storms could occur in that time.

The entire area is in a level 3 "enhanced risk" right now and the Storm Prediction Center says that risk level may get upgraded. The image below shows the chance of a tornado within a 25 mile point. The hatched area shows the risk of strong/long lasting tornadoes. Michigan, northern Indiana and the northwest part of our area looks most at risk to me based on the newest weather data this morning. Of course we will keep you updated every step of the way.
