Sooo. Just to fill everyone in on my decision to close! Allen had his lung collapsed in Saturday’s fight! To the credit of his toughness and will to win he never stopped fighting and never went down! It was only after the fight he said he was hurting and couldn’t breath! The took him in ambulance to hospital! He had to have a tube inserted to drain air off lung. It was a miserable 3 days! He got home today and I couldn’t be more relieved! I can’t take the chance of anything like this ever happening to a kid under my watch again!

It is with a heavy heart to say this! I have enjoyed every young man and young lady that has came through my gym and I really hope I’ve made a positive influence in everyone’s lives. Due to some recent events, I’m gonna close the gym! I love every kid that’s been through my doors and if any ever need anything y’all have my number!

'People who give in to their pain are almost always destined to come in second or third in life. It's like runners in a race: One guy's knee starts hurting and he slows down to protect it; another guy's knee starts hurting, and all he can see ahead of him is the finish line. It's the people who stop to consider their hurt and heartache who usually fall short of their goals. Some even drop out altogether just because they experience a little disappointment or sorrow. You've got to play through your pain if you want to make it where you're going.'
