Not all parents send their kid to horse camp because they want to rodeo.... but their’s some it is just in their blood! Evie has not been riding long ... and boy is she hooked! She’s worked so hard, watches lots of videos and jumps in every extra lesson she can ... well she and CL showed out Saturday ... they were 10th in the barrels. It’s coming ... it’s just going to get faster! And I am excited to watch her! And now CL ... we’ll not only is she a blessing but a barrel racing miracle herself! We owe a big thanks to Thomas Royals at Purvis Equine Center as well as our ultimate physician... she also had another special girl joining me and praying for her complete recovery every single day..... and The good Lord said CL was not finished teaching kids how to win! .... 🙏🙏❤️. Her parents and I kept a secret for quite a while ... but Bo is officiallyMerrits and they are making a heck of a team! They were 3rd In the 2d last night in Hattiesburg ... some times it takes the right horse for the jockey... as much as taking the right jockey for the horse! These are two peas in a pod that’s for sure!
