Announcement…

High Dive Champions is excited and proud to announce the hiring of Billy McGowan as our new full-time Associate Head Coach. As most of you know Billy has been with the team this past season as an assistant part-time coach. Billy is now joining on a full-time basis and brings 16 years of professional coaching to High Dive at both the Collegiate and Junior Olympic levels.
Billy has coached multiple Division I Collegiate and Junior Olympic National Qualifiers including 2009 USA Diving National Champion Carolina Sculti. He spent 3 years as the Head Diving Coach at the University of Illinois in the Big Ten Conference and was the founder and Head Coach of the Marlins Diving Club in Greenwich, CT, where he brought the team a YMCA National title in 2009 and back-to-back Regional Championships in 2009 and 2010. Billy also spent 2 years as the Head Coach at Stony Brook University where he received his Masters Degree in Physical Education. Billy is excited to take on a leading role at High Dive Champions, bringing with him his life-long passion for the sport of diving. Please join me in welcoming Billy aboard as our new full time coach!
