At NOVA, coaching has never been just about teaching skills, building routines, or preparing for competition.

It’s about building people.

It’s seeing potential in an athlete before they can see it in themselves. It’s challenging them to reach higher while giving them a place where they know they belong. It’s teaching them how to work through the hard days, celebrate the breakthroughs, trust their teammates, find their confidence, and discover just how much they’re capable of.

Our coaches help shape the culture of NOVA every single day. They set the standard. They lead by example. They celebrate the little victories no one else sees. They invest their time, energy, patience, and heart into helping our athletes become stronger - both on and off the mat.

Want to experience competitive cheer without the commitment of a full-year season? NOVA Cheer Elite is excited to introduce HALF-YEAR TEAMS! 💙🖤🤍

Our Half-Year program is a great opportunity for athletes who are ready to take the next step, try competitive cheer, or join the NOVA family mid-season!

✨ HALF-YEAR TEAM ASSESSMENTS
📅 Sunday, October 25
⏰ 2:00–4:00 PM

What to Expect:
👑 Practice 2x per week
👑 1.5-hour practices
👑 Compete at 3 events
👑 Competitions located between Baltimore & Richmond
👑 Minimal travel required
👑 The NOVA training, team experience & energy you know and love - in a shorter season!

No previous competitive cheer experience? That’s okay! Athletes will be assessed and placed based on age, skills and the needs of each team.
