💚 More than dance.. 💚
I am so thankful I get to teach Irish dance. It is not always fun or easy, there are a lot of hard lessons to learn.
Young dancers learn how to work hard when things don’t come easily, how to be brave enough to perform, how to support teammates, and how to keep going after disappointment. They learn discipline, resilience, confidence, and pride in their progress.
For adult dancers, continuing to dance often means balancing work, family, injuries, exhaustion, and the demands of everyday life. Choosing to keep showing up for something they love takes incredible dedication.
Teaching the steps and perfecting the movements are just one small part. The medals fade, but the strength and confidence every single dancer works hard to build and learn, thats what makes teaching so rewarding!
