Purcellville Skate Project

Purcellville Skate Project We are community volunteers working hard to bring a skate park to Purcellville, VA.

The Purcellville skate park will serve as a place where the community can come together and partake in, or observe, skate board activities.

Just met with Brandon from American Ramp Company at Market Street Coffee. We explored their approach to design and building of skate parks. While too early to determine who will build the park, it was a great educational experience. He has the coolest title: Skatepark Specialist.

The big Purcellville Skate Park meeting is tonight - 7 pm town hall. You need to be there or a flower garden will be built on the land we now have for the park (not really, but it could happen if you stay at home).

Meeting Location MOVED to the Purcellville Town Hall. The Sept. 4 Public Input meeting has moved from the Train Station. Tell everyone! Also, the town has issued a press release about the meeting, which will be in all the papers.

We had a great PVSP group meeting tonight. We're preparing for the BIG public input on Sept. 4 at Town of Purcellville Train Station - 7 pm. At this meeting we'll discuss the vision for a community skate park, while answering questions. Bring a friend, 'cause we know you're coming.

Come pack the house for the first public input meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 4th at 7pm, Train Station. This is our chance to show the town how much we need a skate park. This meeting is hosted by the town. Come on down, bring your boards and make your presence known!

The town of Purcellville will host a skate park public input meeting on September 4 at 7 pm. The meeting will be held at the Town of Purcellville Train Station. Come and ask questions and hear the vision. This meeting was originally scheduled for August (now Sept.)

The Town of Purcellville will be announcing soon a public input meeting for the skate park. On Tuesday, August 7, the public will be invited to share their thoughts on the future skate park coming to our community. Come to the Town of Purcellville Train Station at 7 pm to share your thoughts, and to learn more about this exciting effort.

Our group met last night to discuss the meeting next week with the Purcellville Parks and Recreation committee. They are working to organize and promote a community feedback meeting. We're excited to begin working with the town. Stay tuned for meeting times.
