CHS Tarpon Baseball is proud to announce Ryan Kennedy as the Head Baseball Coach.
Kennedy starred on the mound for the Tarpons before continuing his baseball career at Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, Kennedy became one of the top pitchers in program history, earning Freshman All-American honors and becoming the first Tech baseball player to be named ACC Pitcher of the Week twice.
Before his collegiate success, Kennedy compiled a remarkable 26-4 record during his two seasons at Charlotte High School, earning All-State recognition and helping continue the proud tradition of Tarpon baseball.
Ryan and his wife, Casey Kennedy, have long been invested in the local community. Casey founded Bloom Academy in 2012, growing it into a respected network of early childhood education centers serving families throughout Southwest Florida. Ryan also served as the head of the Charlotte Crushers Baseball organization from 2021 to 2025.
As a former Tarpon, collegiate athlete, coach, husband, and father, Coach Kennedy returns to Punta Gorda with a vision to continue the proud tradition of Charlotte baseball while developing the next generation of student-athletes both on and off the field.
