Since WSU Intramurals were founded in April, 1902 the program has grown to offer over 75 activities during the year with over 6,000 participants. Playing intramural sports at WSU has truly become an essential part of being a Coug. Join the tradition and come out to get a little exercise, meet new people, and most importantly - have fun! WSU Intramurals offers extensive opportunities to currently e

nrolled WSU students, faculty, staff and their spouses/partners
in over 60 competitive and structured activities each year. Participation in the program is voluntary and determined by
interest. Participation can provide one with opportunities to have fun, learn new sports, meet people from other cultures,
test one's physical ability, as well as offer a break from routine. League sports generally take on a league structure with
four contests followed by a post-season tournament to determine divisional champions. Tournament activities range from
one-day to several day tournaments. In most events, players/teams will sign up for men’s, women’s, and/or co-ed. Players/teams can also sign up for Elite, Premier, Competitive or Recreational leagues based on their competitive needs.
