Both of our Pathways Fund riders with ProTeam took on the challenging cobbled climbs at the Tour of Flanders Women’s World Tour race.
made the early breakaway, staying ahead of the race for an impressive 71km this weekend! Both of these talented American riders could be selected for the Tour de France Femmes in August.

Team “Mom” or “The Queen,” Dea has quickly become one of the most loved and respected members of the Cynisca team. She is attuned to the needs of the riders because “By their well being, they can perform their best!”

Dea was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she studied physical education in sports physiology. She has worked in the fitness & physical health industry for more than 25 years. She was also formerly competitive in long distance triathlons ( 20+ full distance Ironmans with 4 World Championships & 30+ half distance Ironmans ) and 2x 24hours World Championship Time Trial racing. She made the transition into the cycling world by working for cycling camps and tours to then got invited to work with cycling teams

Passionate about cycling, she began working in the industry avidly for cycling teams (four years with LUX Cycling) and at cycling events and camps around the world. She truly understands the needs of pre, during and post racing, drawing on her personal and professional experiences.

And she cares … A LOT!

She tells riders, “if you’re happy, I’m happy.” Maybe that’s why they always call her the “Team MOM,” and she absolutely loves it.

Cynisca Cycling Funding Update: While we did not reach our funding goal for a UCI Women’s ProTeam in 2026, our commitment to supporting women’s cycling remains stronger than ever. Our focus now is on sponsorships and fundraising to continue operating our current UCI Continental level team.

You can help us build on three successful seasons by:
Making an individual donation through our crowdfunding campaign. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we’ve already raised $85K+ towards our $250K goal!

Connecting us with individuals or foundations who believe in women’s sports and want to make an immediate, high-impact difference.

We need $500,000 in committed support by October 15 to register the team, every contribution counts!

To make supporting Cynisca more accessible, we’ve reduced our jersey and bib short donation levels to $200, check them out, link in bio.

Pulaski county you’ve got us a hooked 🥰

we had such a fun time in Pulaski a couple weeks ago! we got to explore the beautiful roads of southwest Virginia and loved it. we even thought that it reminded us a bit of the windy beautiful roads that Europe has to offer.
