Stealth

Stealth The Stealth Quick Release Rod Holder allows you to set the hook with our patented technology without having to touch the Rod Holder.

For many of us, the best rod holder solution is one that holds and protects your gear, but isn't in the way when its time to set the hook. We have been developing this product for years and we are excited to finally be launching it! We think its the best solution on the market because your rod handle snaps into place. The dual elastomer cam is strong, but flexible. It supports your gear from damage and keeps it secure.

Stealth's Angie Scott reports:

Tonight was one for the books. 🌅

We held another Freedom Boat Club of Tennessee Boat Sisters Sunset Cruise this evening, this time leaving from Nashville Shores Marina on Percy Priest Lake, and the universe gave us an incredible treat.

We boated over to Bear Island, anchored, and rafted our two boats together facing west. We shared boat snacks, drinks, laughter, and conversation before heading back toward the dam, where we were treated to one of the most spectacular sunsets I’ve seen in a long time. These photos don’t even fully capture it.

We missed our Boat Sisters Ambassador Nancy Parker tonight and hope she feels better soon. Even though she couldn’t be there, she did so much of the coordinating behind the scenes, and we truly couldn’t make these events happen without her.

Thank you to Dana for once again doing an amazing job captaining our second boat, and to our volunteer first mates, Theresa Alexandroni and Cynthia Haddock, for helping everything run so smoothly.

We also had a couple of newcomers with us tonight, which is always one of my favorite parts. Freedom Boat Sisters is about creating opportunities for women to get on the water, meet new people and make memories together, and tonight was a beautiful reminder of exactly why we started it. 💙🚤⚓️

Looks like a great time!!! What a beautiful sunset ladies! ... 👏🏼

Learn How To Catch Hybrid Striped Bass | Originally developed for aquaculture, hardy hybrid striped bass were released into the wild to give anglers a fun fish to target. With the heavy body of their white bass parent and the aggressive bite of the striped bass side of the family, hybrids are stocked into lakes in the Southeast as a fun fish for anglers to target.

Palmetto bass are the original crossbreed between a female striped bass and a male white bass. A cross between a male striper and a female white bass is called a sunshine bass. Hybrids are easy to produce and tolerate poor water conditions, offering a great tasting sportfish for southern anglers.

Since the hybrid bass’ creation, the frankenfish have been stocked in lakes and reservoirs across the United States. Resembling the striped bass side of the family, hybrids are bright silver with thin black stripes. Identifying hybrid bass is simple. A white bass has at least one line uninterrupted from shoulder to tail. Palmetto bass have broken stripes in the first third of their body. Sunshine bass have a zigzag in the stripe about mid-body.

Due to their lab origin, hybrids are sterile and are managed by state stocking programs. The fish still exhibit breeding behavior and school-up to run upriver like a spawning white bass. Continue reading: https://bit.ly/4bAKhTv

Stealth's Cheryl Smith reports:

I was really itching to get out and catch some fish today, so I headed to the Fox River. My car has been in the shop, which has made it tough to get out during the week while Mike has the other vehicle.

I didn’t catch any giants, and honestly, I wasn’t even planning to take a photo with this fish. But then something happened.

A dad and his young son walked by, and when the little boy spotted my fish, his face absolutely lit up.

“Dad! Look! That lady caught a fish! She caught a fish! Look!”

His excitement was contagious. Seeing how thrilled he was reminded me of something important: every catch is exciting, and every fish deserves its moment in the spotlight.

So here you have it, the star of today’s fishing trip, this young smallmouth bass. 💫🐟

I caught a few tiny ones too, and honestly, every tug on the line brought a smile to my face. Sometimes it’s not about the size of the fish, it’s about the joy of being out there and sharing the excitement with others. 🎣😁
