Well a new year is here and for a lot of us this is the time we start thinking about setting new Goals that we want to accomplish for the year. Weather it be Loosing Weight, Gaining Muscle, Eating Healthier or FINALLY GETTING A DAMN PULL UP!!! lol

But I have an idea for you, instead of writing down goals, what if we start taking a look at your HABITS!?!

Goals are often focused on Outcomes (Loosing 20 pounds, Reading 3 books a month). But once (and if) those goals are met, we often revert right back to the same BAD HABITS that got us there in the first place!!

Good Habits on the other hand will give you bite size tasks that you can easily accomplish daily that will eventually get you to that Big Goal!!

So instead of fighting to loose the 20 pounds, maybe walk at least 20 minutes a day. Instead of cramming in a bunch of pages to read those three books, maybe read 10 pages a day until you get there!!

Remember: Small Hinges Can Swing BIG DOORS!!

Lower Body Mobility Warm Up Before You Hit Some Squats!!

This routine will focus a lot on the hips. SO if you know this is a trouble area for you( I know it is for me lol). Give it a shot and let us know what you think!!

1: Lizard Stretch (Back and Forth)
2: Alternating Hip Crossovers
3: Squat Hold(Elbows Inside Knees)
4: Kossack Squats

3 sets of 10 reps on each leg. Squat hold will be for 30 seconds.

Being "PERFECT" in Your Fitness Journey can become very Daunting and can eventually feel more like a Burden than A Positive change to your lifestyle.

This kind of mindset can effect everything from your Training, Nutrition and even Social Life.

"I have to be Perfect with my Nutrition!! I Can't Slip!!"

"I Can't have fun with my Friends!! I'm on a Diet!!"

From my experience, this will not last and you will eventually Burn Out and Give Up. Taking you right back to the place you tried to Escape in the first place.

AIM TO BE CONSISTENT, NOT STESSING OUT ABOUT BEING PERFECT!!

The holidays can be a tough time when you are trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This can be very frustrating and mentally draining.

But this can be a time where you get to enjoy delicious food AND still feel good!!

You can enjoy holiday meals and holiday parties without over eating, food guilt or regrets!!

Try these 5 tips and listen to your body.

(Though it can seems hard at times) Get out of your own head and the little voice that wants you to keep having more.

Enjoy these foods mindfully, stop when you are full, have fun and get back on track!!💪👊🦍
