Puckett High School is thrilled to announce the hiring of Alan Peacock as its new Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. With an impressive 21-year coaching career and a track record of success, Coach Peacock brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for student-athlete development to the Puckett Wolves.
A graduate and former quarterback/wide receiver at Belhaven University, Coach Peacock began his coaching career as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Clinton High School,
where he spent seven years honing his skills and mentoring young athletes. He then took the helm at Center Hill High School, where he led the Mustangs for 14 seasons, becoming the
winningest coach in the school’s history. Under his leadership, Center Hill battled in the competitive landscape of the MHSAA’s 6A Football Classification.
Beyond the Friday night lights, Coach Peacock is known for his unwavering dedication to character development, discipline, and fostering a winning culture both on and off the field. His
passion for shaping young athletes into leaders will be a tremendous asset to Puckett High School’s athletic program.
Coach Peacock is joined in this exciting new chapter by his wife of 23 years, Elisabeth, and their two children, Tripp (21) and Ashlyn (19). As he steps into his new role, he is eager to build on
Puckett’s rich athletic tradition and lead the Wolves to new heights.
Coach Peacock looks forward to starting the process of building relationships with our student-athletes, staff, and community. An introductory community/parent night will be held on April 3, 2025 in the Puckett High School Multipurpose Room.
