Hey Race Fans!
Coming up next Saturday night is Edward Jones Investment Toy Toss night. During intermission of the next round of racing for the O’REILLY / NASCAR local racing series at the Salina Highbanks Speedway, there will be toys tossed around for the kids in attendance thanks to our friends at Edward Jones Investment.
We are looking for dry weather next weekend after yet another rainout last Saturday. This is now 5 races conducted and 5 rainouts for the season so we are back to Even-Steven with the rain gods. In taking a look around the area, it seems there were no racetracks in operation on Saturday due to the large weather system that came through. For this Saturday, the usual suspects will once again be in action this week. Dawson Roofing B-mods, Ameri-Flex Hose factory stocks, S&J Plumbing pure stocks and Colvin Aircraft front and rear wheel drive trophy cars will be your racing entertainers. With 50% of the events on the 2026 schedule to date shelved for weather issues, this is most certainly an unconventional season for watching dirt fly. Looking for another shot at the Highbanks this weekend!

July 18: Joe Duvall's Funkadelic Dirt Track & H***y Tonk Extravaganza modified special
August 22: OCRS winged sprint cars. Final sprint car race of 2026 at the Highbanks
September 12: Comp Cams late model series takes on the Highbanks
September 26: Final race of the season and it’s Halloween at the Highbanks night
