Maineiacs Goaltending Utah's premier goaltending school, Maineiacs Goaltending provides a very detail-oriented and personalized approach to your goaltending experience.

Whether a beginner, intermediate, or advanced goalie, we will help to better your game. Owned and operated by Jared Bussell, a native of the goaltending mecca known as Orono, Maine. Former goaltender for Brigham Young University, currently serving as the USA Hockey Goaltending Development Coordinator for Utah, USA Hockey District and National Camp coach and evaluator. It’s September! A few days ago, I was doing some research and came across a goalie coach who brought up a good point. Russian goalies are some of the best goalies in the world, why? Because they’re fast, athletic, agile, and flexible. So maybe we should start implementing a little more Russian training into the way we train our goalies. In these clips we are trying to add a little more athleticism to our training by working on agility and speed in our recoveries when in random, unplanned, and uncomfortable situations. does a great job of working through different ways of recovering and adding a few more tools to his toolbox. Looking forward to studying more Russian goaltending training and how we can implement it into our goalie coaching.

Today was a good day. I am so grateful for the game of hockey. It has given me the opportunity to learn from and coach some of the greatest people I know. This… this is what keeps me coming back to the rink everyday. It’s not just about the game, but the relationships you build, and the ability and opportunity to make a difference. Love all my coaches, my players, goalies, and shooters. Let’s keep rolling. Thank you, God.
