We didn't launch at all in 2021 due to the pandemic. Kymopoleia was on the hard, all-year, nursing wounds and yearning to swim with the whales in Cape Cod Bay. Here's hope for all of us, who sail, for early, spring launches in 2022 and lots of satisfying navigation.

'Great article about naming whales, who knew there was a vote?
I read the whole thing, it's a good read.
Years ago I learned from a Patrick O'Brian novel, that the "Right" whale species was named by whalers. This article describes the fairly new practice of naming individual whales.

This incredibly popular stove is no longer made! This stove is in great condition! I would keep it if I could because I know these stoves, they are excellent quality and very easy to use. They seem to last forever too!
