SHES BACKKKKKKK…….
yes i’m finally starting to get my groove back! i’m also slowly getting back to my regular teaching schedule. i’m back to teaching thursdays and fridays. so as of right now i’m teaching thursday-saturday. 12-9 pm open gym from 12-4pm and the same schedule intro to pole at 4 pm and exotic pole at 530 pm, and pole 101 at 7:15pm. the studio is almost done with renovations. ( almost) it’s coming along very try nicely! almost done. And i’m starting to slowly feel like myself again, attempted my first “iron X” since before my accident. kinda shocked myself did a lot better than i thought! i started walking ( weight bearing) april 1st 2026. i got rid of the crutches a week after that, and got rid of the boot a few days before my 40th birthday. iv been going to physical therapy 3 days a week and i train with my personal trainer 3 days week. and i was only teaching saturdays to start ( i started teaching as soon as my doctor said i could weight bare). its been a long journey and i still have a long way to go, my range of motion is slowly coming back ( i dont have my toe point back yet) but i will. in time. been taking it at the right pace. not to fast and not to slow. being bed ridden for 4 months will cause your “joints to freeze” and that’s what happened to my ankle. i was fortunate i didn’t break any of my ankle joints. just shattered the tibia in 7 places. and compounded the fibula. so the point im at right now is getting myself to start running again ( not quite there yet) and getting my strength back for jumping on the left leg. and my ankle strength and range of motion. i’ve been grateful and blessed to have such an amazing doctor and team of doctors , physical therapists, and personal trainer. they have been such a great help and support. But nothing as good or greater than my staff of teachers and friends at PVD pole fitness. i’d like to make a big huge shout out to all my amazing teachers who have stuck through helping me navigate through this unexpected adventure. between covering classes, hosting bachelorette parties, helping with back end and helping to continue renovations while i was in the hospital and b
