that prepares you for occurrences in everyday life, at home or at work, on the field or in the ring. All workouts are scaled to meet you where you are physically. Regardless of your experience or fitness level, you will find your best fitness in the CrossFit program! CrossFit is scalable for all ages and levels and is so effective that it has been adopted by police academies, tactical operations teams, military special operations units (Navy SEALs), champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

As you have probably heard we are closing. It is very sad time but we want to celebrate one last time. From 11:30am-1:30pm tomorrow we will be hanging out at the gym. This is an open invite to everyone to come celebrate and say goodbye! Hope to see you then!

Week two of the 2025 CFP Intramural Open is over, and the Green Team has taken the lead with 240 points. The Blue Team trails by only 2 points, in second with 238 points. The Red Team has lost some distance and sits in third with 219 points.⁠

With wins in both the RX and Scaled divisions thanks to .baldauf14 and respectively, the Green Team was able to pull ahead. also scored for the team with a second place finish in the Scaled division and took home some points in the RX division. Colleen also had the most individual points out of everyone this week.⁠

The Blue Team slips into second place, but strong performances by .kap17 and .jpg in the Scaled division, and and .paulo in the RX division kept them in the hunt for the win.⁠

The Red Team was led by a second place finish in the RX division by Paul K. with also earning the team points with a solid RX score. and Jonah Z. round out the Scaled division points for the Red Team.⁠

In what one can only describe as a pitiful and disappointing showing, the three teams attempted to build the tallest house of cards they could in 5 minutes. The Blue Team was able to win the house of cards challenge by managing to stack two levels of cards. Green and Red both tied with only one single level each.⁠

We have entered our last week of the competition. Will Red be able to pull ahead in this final week? Will Green crumble under the pressure? Who do you think will come out on top? Time will only tell! Week 1 of the 2025 CFP Intramural Open is complete! Scores have been entered and points totalled, and the Blue Team is leading the charge with 119 points. and put up big scores to earn their team points in the RX division, Katie C. and Hannah T. led the team on the scaled side, and helped the team to the lead, earning the most individual points this week.⁠

The Green Team is in a very close second thanks to and who tied for second place in the RX division and strong showings from and Austin W. in the scaled divisions. A win in the paper airplaine contest put them only 4 points behind first place.⁠

Only 7 points out of the lead, the Red Team is sitting in a strong third place. A win in the scaled division from along with points earned by and strong performances on the RX side from Paul K. and kept the race close. tied for the most individual points this week to keep the team in contention for first place.⁠

It is almost time, the 2025 Crossfit Providence Intramural Open is upon us! The first workout is announced today, what movements are we hoping to see?? What sort of skill are we hoping for the first non-workout team challenge?⁠

It's not too late to sign up either! Just write your name on the poster near the WOD white board to be added to a team! Teams will be emailed out tomorrow before the big day, don't forget to wear your team color to the workout to get some extra points. We are so excited and can't wait for all the fun to come with a little bit of fitness. If you have any questions, just see a coach!

We have one week until our first workout of the 2025 Crossfit Providence Intramural Open! You may be asking yourself "why should I sign up?", and here's a few reasons:⁠

1. It's a great chance to meet other people in our community and create a supportive and motivating environment.⁠
2. It offers us a chance to test the limits of our fitness and exposes us to new things we might not normally try in class.⁠
3. The energy during the open is pure magic! It's a great opportunity to push for a PR or get your first on a new movement.⁠
4. Its FUN! Don't let a little competition scare you away, it is very low stakes and a whole lot of fun. PLUS your skills outside of fitness may lead your team to victory. Musical chairs, eating donuts, and flip cup have been needed skills in past years.⁠

All you need to do to sign up is write your name down on the board in the gym. We'll see you there!
