This weekend marked the beginning of our 2026 AAU season alongside the Baystate Jaguars, a program renowned for its established history of facilitating collegiate recruitment opportunities. Our team is founded on discipline, consistently demonstrating exceptional defensive prowess and astute offensive strategies. With a wealth of talent, we are well-positioned to continually enhance our performance and compete at the highest echelon. Stay tuned for the progression of our season as we participate in the most prestigious tournaments. Notably, our opening game featured our New Jaguars Director, Laurie Bollin, in attendance alongside an assistant coach from Auburn University, a prominent member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and NCAA Division 1 institution.

Huge shoutout to our Big Sis Jaizzy Santiago, 2026 Mount Saint Charles varsity prep Captain and Point guard, who currently holds 10 college offers.

She exemplifies a true hybrid combo-guard, possessing the 5 🔑 keys: 1.smooth ball handling, an 2.extremely effective shot, 3.phenomenal court vision,4.tireless defensive skills, and
5.Heart.

Jaizzy brings elite basketball skills like unparalleled shooting and game-changing offense, as well as strong leadership characterized by humility, confidence, and a positive attitude. She also elevates the team by helping individual players improve, influencing their collective performance, and inspiring teammates through her work ethic and leadership.
Her versatility on offense comes with a Big bag. she consistently demonstrates the ability to score at all three levels.Jaizzy is a true winner. Her dedication to the sport is evident, as she spends countless hours in the gym, serving as a true inspiration for all our girls.

We extend our gratitude to Jaizzy for taking our girls under her wing and providing them with rigorous training sessions throughout the summer.She challenged each player to push themselves to their limits, while providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth. Jaizzy’s leadership qualities, coupled with her ability to motivate and inspire, make her an exemplary role model for our girls already setting the trend and letting girls know the harder you work the bigger of the reward.

It is with immense pride that I extend my sincerest congratulations to Ariana Ruiz on her well-deserved selection to the Mount Saint Charles Academy varsity team, a shining testament to the rewards of perseverance and determination, demonstrating that hard work and faith can lead to boundless blessings.

This is not merely a post of pride, but a celebration of the incredible blessings that my wife and I have been fortunate enough to witness in our fearless student athlete, who consistently excels in both academic and athletic pursuits.

Ariana brings an extraordinary combination of skills to the table, including exceptional scoring ability, versatility on offense, and remarkable playmaking prowess, complemented by her championship experience and vocal leadership. With her incredible ability to create her own shot opportunities and facilitate gameplay at an elite level, she consistently creates opportunities for her teammates.
She is ecstatic to join forces with her sisters, with whom she has battled against top-notch competition up and down the East Coast.

Her shooting skills and defensive expertise, marked by her ability to block shots and disrupt opponents’ offense, make her a difference-maker. As last year’s 2024 Varsity MVP and Second Runner-Up Honorable Player of the Year, Jazzlyn has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, unwavering dedication, and an unrelenting passion for excellence. Her impressive 260 points scored at the varsity level as a 7th grader, coupled with multiple appearances on the prep team, showcase her remarkable growth, perseverance, and love for the game. With her lightning-quick release and incredibly soft touch beyond the three-point line, Jazz is an inspiration to watch, embodying the true spirit of excellence, sportsmanship, and leadership.
