Big welcome to Prof. Seyla Phul, who joins coach Mickey and I on the instructors team at Providence Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He teaches Tuesdays at 6pm followed by our new 8pm class. Come check him out!

This weekend we were honored to host grappling teams from Brown, Princeton and Boston University at Providence Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for this student-led Jiu Jitsu Tournament. Amazing matches and great vibes. Hope to see y’all again this summer!

A new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school has opened in Providence — with an inclusive mission. Providence BJJ is located at 4 Aurora Street — just off of Valley Street — and GoLocal spoke with owner Marco McWilliams about the new business.
