Protivin Iowa Softball League (PISL) In 2009 Matt Schwade (Commish) brought back a slowpitch softball league to Protivin. Rumor has it that a league was absent for 20 years.

Free Hot Dogs and Lemonade tonight at the Ballpark! Come out and enjoy a Polashek's Locker Service Hot Dog and Ice cold Lemonade and watch some playoff Slow-pitch softball! Two teams will be eliminated tonight! Hope to see y'all at the Protivin Ball Park! Games start at 6:30 pm!

The first game is in the books! Mutt Farms, JP BULDING, and Arts Milling are the winners from week one! Make sure you stop by This Thursday as JP BULDNG and Hodge Podge play at 7:00 p.m.

Word has it, that some of the seats from the Metrodome, in Minneapolis are coming to the Protivin Ball Park in 2014! Come to the first game in May and find out! Enjoy the rest of your winter, softball fans and players!

Congratulations to Art's Milling on the season champs once agian! JP Building came in with a solid second place finsh in the standings, and Polashek's Locker/Fencl Oil rounded put the third position. Reick's Lamdscaping was fourth, Mutt Farms took fifth, sixth went to Bob's Bagging, Seventh was Farm Pro and the Holy Rollers ended up in the eighth and final position in the Protivin Iowa Softball Standings!
Thanks to all the participated in the games and will see you all next year!

Softball has been cancelled Tuesday night due to Turkey Valley baseball playing to go to state. Softball playoffs start on Thursday night and Protivin Town Drawings will now be held on Tuesday, July 30th.

It's offical! Softball season is coming up. The first set of games is scheduled for May 14th! Get out them bats and gloves, and bring them to Protivin for a great way to spend your Tuesday and Thursday nights!
