Mid-Carolina High School is proud to announce Jody Haltiwanger as our new Head Football Coach!

Coach Haltiwanger is a graduate of Newberry High School and brings a strong academic and coaching background to our program. He holds a Master of Science in Sports Science and Athletic Administration from the United States Sports Academy and a Bachelor of Arts in History/Secondary Education from Winthrop University. He is also a National Board Certified Teacher in Social Studies.

Coach Haltiwanger has coaching experience at both Walhalla High School and Chapin High School, where he has made a positive impact on student-athletes both on and off the field.

He is married to Mid-Carolina graduate Stephanie Waites, and together they have three children: Tyler (21), Baylee (14), and Barrett (12).

We are excited to welcome Coach Haltiwanger and his family to the Mid-Carolina community and look forward to the future of Rebel Football under his leadership!
