Looking for a fun night at the ballpark while supporting a great cause?

The 17th Annual Battle of the Badges Charity Softball Game is coming to Wade Stadium on August 26!

Come cheer on Duluth Fire vs. Duluth Police while supporting the Northern Lights Foundation and the local children and families they serve.

As we wrap up another baseball season, we wanted to give a huge thank you to Miah Schubitzke for volunteering his time and effort to help install the new protective netting at Klang Fields 1 & 2, and to Minnesota Power for donating the use of the truck that made the installation possible.

The new nets are a huge improvement at Klang, helping keep baseballs within the field area and providing additional protection for vehicles, neighboring properties, and everyone around the ballpark.

Projects like this don't happen without people willing to step up, lend their time, and provide the resources needed to get the job done.

Thank you, Miah and Minnesota Power, for supporting Proctor Area Youth Baseball and helping us continue to improve our fields for our players, families, and community! 💚🖤⚾

Supporting Youth Sports Beyond the Ballfield

Proctor Area Youth Baseball is proud to support organizations that help make youth sports accessible to more families in our community.

The Montgomery Sports Foundation is hosting its 2026 Play It Forward Gala on September 16, 2026, at Greysolon Plaza in Duluth. Proceeds from this event help remove financial barriers for young athletes by providing assistance with registration fees and equipment costs.

The evening will feature:
🏅 A conversation with Olympic silver medalists Korey Dropkin and Cory Thiesse
👕 A fun jersey-themed atmosphere
🎁 Silent and live auctions
❤️ An opportunity to support local kids and families

Another weekend, another championship for our Proctor Rails 10AA Tournament Team!

The Rails battled their way through the Northland Baseball Classic, showcasing grit, teamwork, and a never-give-up attitude on their way to bringing home the championship trophy.

This group continues to grow with every game, and we're incredibly proud of the way they compete, support one another, and represent Proctor wherever they play.

Congratulations to our Proctor Rails 10AA Tournament Team on winning the Gopher State Tournament Championship!

This team showed tremendous determination, teamwork, and resilience all weekend long, earning a championship through hard work and a commitment to one another. We couldn't be more proud of the way these players represented Proctor both on and off the field.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on an outstanding tournament and a well-earned championship!

What an incredible weekend at the Proctor Classic!

Over three days, we welcomed teams from across the region for a weekend filled with great competition, sportsmanship, and memories that our players will carry with them for years to come.

A heartfelt thank you to our coaches, volunteers, board members, umpires, concession workers, field crews, sponsors, and the visiting associations who helped make this tournament a success. It truly takes an entire community working together, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Championship weekend for the Rails!

Congratulations to our 10U AA and 11U teams on winning the Hibbing Tournament this weekend!

A great accomplishment for these players and coaches, and another successful weekend for Proctor Baseball. We couldn't be more proud of the way they represented our program on and off the field.

And on Father's Day weekend, thank you to all of the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who help make moments like these possible.

First homer alert!

Congratulations to Brody on his first home run! His two-run shot in the bottom of the 5th gave the Rails some breathing room heading into the final inning.

A huge milestone and a memory that will last a lifetime. Great job, Brody!

Who's ready to become a Diamond Dawg?

Starting June 1st, PAYB players can begin tracking extra time spent developing their baseball skills outside of practices and games.

From playing catch in the backyard to extra cage work and everything in between, it all counts toward Diamond Dawg recognition milestones.

Work hard. Have fun. Love the game.
