Maple Leaf Equestrian Maple Leaf Equestrian is a private dressage training facility located at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club.

For the rider: Developing riders to master a solid foundation of balance (independent seat) relaxation and communication through biomechanics and Classical Dressage fundamentals. For the horse: Developing correct PURITY OF GAITS to allow develop correct musculature.Shannon has trained over the years following the German Training Scale and continues to follow this system with USDF and CADORA standards and specifications. Shannon has worked for and trained with some of Canada's and USA's top riders and trainers, including 30+ years of breaking, starting and riding young horses/stallions/horses possessing specific training challenges. Words cannot describe the sorrow we all are feeling with the loss of David Penn. He was such an inspiration and was the kindest person. David was always supportive of Maple Leaf Equestrian, and I will greatly miss his friendship and the unwavering support he gave me. Our hearts are with his wife Charlotte, family, friends and the Horse and Hunt Club community 🥰
