We have entered the final stretch for Measure 114! Supreme Court decisions are expected to take 9-12 months. It’s been 9.5 months!

The last case they decided was on 7/30, about 10 months after it was argued. So we have entered the “any-day-now” time period. Opinions are usually released on Thursdays or Fridays, so let’s check back in on being ready for this case to be decided.

Regardless, Measure 114 will remain on hold until 2028 unless the legislature makes changes during the long session (if we lost, I would expect changes with an emergency clause). If we all do our part, Oregon should have a NEW governor to veto those changes and all else she’s committed to doing!!!

My question for you… Will the Oregon Supreme Court decide this case BEFORE, AFTER, or ON Election Day?

Election Day will be 3 days shy of a full 12 months!

Either Duncan v. Bonta or Gator’s Custom Guns could spell the end to magazine bans. Magazine bans plainly fail Bruen’s “text, history, and tradition” test.

22 is plenty. I want to hear that the case is being taken up tomorrow (which is the next conference)!

Remember that the federal Ballot Measure 114 case has been PARKED in the 9th Circuit pending the outcome of Duncan v. Bonta.
