We are so proud to see the Panthers represented internationally this week in Costa Rica!! Here's a quick peek and intro to the program and few pictures from the first few days of the trip!

This summer team captain and MVP, Bailey LeRoy, was selected for the GLASS program (Girls Leadership Academy for Service & Sport). This is an invitation-only program that enrolls standout and emerging leaders from across the United States in high school girls' athletics. We can't wait for Bailey's return and the opportunity for her to share her unique experiences and new found leadership skills with her team, coaches, and classmates!

"GLASS Leadership curriculum over the course of 10 days balances a dynamic blend of leadership development, sports, service-learning, and global engagement. Student-athletes return home with:
Enhanced independence and confidence
A greater awareness of other communities and cultures​
A strong understanding of the leadership skills acquired through sports
A dynamic network of standout peers and mentors

Following our two Panthers who were selected in 2025, another one of our team captains was nominated for an amazing leadership opportunity and very proudly just headed off on an international 10-day adventure!

The Palmyra-Eagle Panthers competed in the Horicon Sectional Track and Field Meet, on Friday, May 29th. The Panthers had their season long goal of qualifying to the State Track Meet and had set themselves up to be in a position to compete in multiple events, including the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, triple jump, 4x200m and 4x100m relays.

Senior Kaylee Lebanowski, kicked things off for the Panthers that were set to compete in the field events. Lebanowski, in the Girls Triple Jump, finished 12th with a jump of 28’2”. Lebanowski, was the lone Panther to have any attempts in the field events, as fellow Triple Jumpers Madison Roy and Bailey LeRoy, opted to forgo their jumps, to focus on their other events. Alexandria Saffarini, the lone Panther in the Girls Long Jump, was unable to compete after an injury in warmups pre-meet.

To start the running events for the Panthers, Junior Bailey LeRoy was on the track first. In the 100m hurdles preliminaries, LeRoy ran 17.38, to make the finals. After a delay, and a rerun for her heat, she solidified her spot in the finals. After the 15 min break, to reset the hurdles, Leroy finished 9th place in a time of 17.92s in the finals.

Next on the track was the Girls 4x200m Relay, made up by Bailey LeRoy, Madison Roy, Chloe Warner and Sara Tucker. Tucker replaced Alexandria Saffarini, after her injury. The girls, seeded 4th overall coming in, left it all on the track, and finishing 6th with a time of 1:52.83s.

All season long the team had been preparing for this relay to have the best opportunity to make it back to state. Through dealing with injury and a last-minute change in the athletes' order, these four girls gave it their all and ran their best time as a group, and the second-best time the team had run all year- second to their Regional Championship time.

Next on the track was the 4x100m relay, made up by Sophomore Sara Tucker, Freshman Madison Roy, Senior Kaylee Lebanowski and Sophomore Katie Cowsert. The team came in off of their Regional Championship run, and finished 12th overall, with a time of 55.8s, the second best time ran by the group.

The final event for the Panthers was the 300m hurdles. Bailey LeRoy, back on the track for her 3rd event, (but her 5th time running on the day due to the re-run in the 100m hurdle prelims and the 100m hurdle finals) came in less than 100%. Even through all the prior events and runs in the heat of the day, LeRoy ran a season best time in the 300m hurdles to give herself an opportunity for a last second qualification. Even with the season best time, LeRoy finished in 7th place, in a time of 50.29s.

Coach Reeves could not be prouder of the team for how hard they worked and for their efforts all year. All season long, they competed as the smallest team, with the youngest roster, and always gave it their all and competed at the highest level.

The season may have not ended how it was imagined, but all the athletes should be proud of their events and what they were able to accomplish this season.

This team has so much potential in the years to come, with a large group of incoming freshmen that will be able to have an early impact and help the team right away. The Panthers are primed to take the success of this season and look to make their way back to State next year and for years to come!!

On Tuesday, May 26th the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers hosted the D3 Regional 4D Track Meet. The Panthers hosted 12 schools for the event, with the top 4 finishers in each event qualifying to move on to Sectionals this Friday.

The Panthers girls as a team finished 3rd overall with 94.5 points. The Panthers boys finished 9th with 14 points. The girls found success early and often throughout the meets with a total of 7 individuals qualifying, and all 4 relays, qualifying for Sectionals. The boys found themselves on the outside looking in, with multiple 5th place finishes.

For the boys, Senior LJ Kollaszar finished 5th in the Shot Put with a season best throw of 40-4.25in and 7th in the Discus with a throw of 105-07 in. Senior LQ McDonald had multiple 5th place finishes on the night in the 200m dash and the 400m dash- with a new best time of 58.98, good for a 1+ second PR. LQ started out his night with a personal best time in the 100m dash, to finish 9th with a time of 12.51.

Both boys have been able to accomplish so much in the short two years they have been part of the high school program, and will be missed as they both turn to graduation and their futures after high school.

The girls team had the early success they have had all season and added events to try to score and qualify in as many events as possible. There were multiple Regionals Champions for the Panthers Girls on the track!!

To start the day, Freshman Alexandria Saffarini placed 1st in the Long Jump with a full foot, personal best jump of 15-4.5in. Junior Bailey LeRoy followed suit with a 1st place run in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.34s.

The girls 4x200m relay made up by Bailey LeRoy, Madison Roy, Alexandria Saffarini, and Chloe Warner, ran their way to a 14s victory to claim their Regional Championship, with a new season best time of 1:52.08.

The girls 4x100m relay ran their own season best time, ran by Sara Tucker, Madison Roy, Kaylee Lebanowski, and Katie Cowsert, in a time of 55.42s, for their own Regional Championship.

Alexandria Saffarini, Chloe Warner, Kaylee Lebanowski, Madison Roy- 4x400m relay, 5:11.09, 2nd place
Michelle Stroh, Kaylee Lebanowski, Sara Tucker, Katie Cowsert- 4x800m relay, 13:59.73, 2nd place
Bailey LeRoy- 300m hurdles, 51.04s, 2nd place
Bailey LeRoy- Triple Jump, 31-10.5, 2nd place
Madison Roy- Triple Jump, 30-04, 3rd place
Kaylee Lebanowski- Triple Jump, 29-2.5, 4th place
Alexandria Saffarini- 200m dash, 28.2, 4th place

Other top 10 finishes:
Sara Tucker, Long Jump, 13-2.75, 6th place
Michelle Stroh, Shot Put, 27-00.5in, 6th place

Kahdijah Furaha, 25-11.25, 8th place

The Panthers girls are back in action on Friday, May 29th at Horicon High School with the hopes of competing at State next weekend. PANTHERS BRING HOME 3 MEDALS FROM THE STATE MEET!!!

It was a beautiful day to be on the track and runways today! The Panthers put together an unforgettable state meet with great times, distances, and memories made!

The meet started out with Sophia Casey finishing 18th in the 100 M Dash with a time of 13.91! This was the 5th individual event Casey qualified for during her MS track career. There is no doubt she will be ready to contribute on the HS team next year!

Presley Gajewski was next up for the Panthers competing in the triple jump. Gajewski jumped 24’ .5” to secure a 9th place finish! It was a valuable experience for a young inspiring 6th grade triple jumper to perform on such a big stage.

Sophia Casey was right back in the action as it was her turn to Triple Jump. Casey showed great mental toughness and learned from each jump she took. It was her 3rd jump that made history, when she leaped an incredible 32’ 8” to become the new PEMS RECORD holder! Her jump was also good for a 4th place medal!

The 4x100 Prelims came next and the ladies kicked things off with a bang! The team of Addison Adsit, Adrianna Plantiko, Delaney Benjamin, and Haley Janczak put together their best performance of the season at the right time. The team ran a 55.61 which was good for a 26th place finish out of 41 teams in a STACKED field! The 55.61 ranks 3rd all time in middle school record books!

The boys 4x100 followed and battled some adversity with a few hiccups on handoffs, but never quit! The team of Gabe Schnuelle, Dylan Holcomb, Henry VanDeVyver, and Elijah Wolter ran a time of 55.75. With athletes only allowed to participate in two running events, Schnuelle (6th) and VanDeVyver (7th) stepped in as alternates and were ready to compete!

It was back to runway for Adrianna Plantiko in the 7th grade Triple. After medaling at the state meet last season, Plantiko was primed and ready to do it again. She put together a solid performance and showed great consistency across all 4 jumps. Plantiko landed her best jump at 31’ and secured a 4th place medal! Back to back!

Gabe Schnuelle was up next and was double dipping with the Triple Jump and 100 M Dash! Schnuelle got off to a great start in the Triple with back to back jumps in the 30’s. He quickly checked out and made his way to the 100 M start. Gabe finished in 9th place with a time of 13.91! Back to the runway he went, and he got the jump done with a jump of 31’ .5”! This jump propelled him into 3rd place to become the 3rd and final medalist of the day!

The 4x200 relays came next for the Purple Crew, and WOW did both teams impress! The ladies went out swinging coming just 1.3 seconds shy of a medal. The team of Adrianna Plantiko, Haley Janczak, Delaney Benjamin, and Sophia Casey ran a season best time of 1:56.96 good for an 8th place finish. This time was also good for 3rd all time on the PEMS record board!

It was a tough act to follow, but the gentlemen got the job done! The team of Dylan Holcomb, Zander Sockrider, Elijah Wolter, and Wesley Barkley put together an impressive race with perfect handoffs! The crew ran a PEMS RECORD time of 1:46.2 good for a 13th place finish!

The 5th and final triple jumper of the day was Wesley Barkley in the 8th grade division! Fresh off his 4x2, Barkley got right after it on the runway and put together 4 solid jumps. He saved the best for last where he jumped 35’ 5” for an 11th place finish!

PEMS ended their amazing meet with an exciting 4x400 relay ran by Cordell Rosenow, Wesley Barkly, Zander Sockrider, and Lincoln Gleaser! After changing the order this week, the boys executed the game plan to perfection. All 4 runners ran great competitive splits to run a PEMS RECORD time of 4:11.15 to finish 18th in a STACKED field! These 4 boys all started track together in 6th grade and have come so far together. They ran 39 seconds faster than their best time a season ago!

PANTHERS STANDOUT ONCE AGAIN AT THE CONFERENCE MEET IN DEERFIELD!!!

This past Tuesday the MS Tracksters put on a clinic at the conference meet! The team came ready to go and used the meet to try for PR’s and prepare for the state meet. Athletes who finished in the top 3 received a ribbon. The meet was split between a 6/7 grade division and an 8th grade division.

The following Panthers earned All-Conference honors:

CONFERENCE CHAMPS- Sophia Casey (100 & 200 M Dash), Girls 4x100 (Adsit, Plantiko, Benjamin, Janczak), Girls 4x200 (Plantiko, Janczak, Benjamin, Casey), Gabe Schnuelle (Triple Jump)

2ND TEAM- Sophia Casey (Triple Jump), Henry VanDeVyver (Triple Jump), Adrianna Plantiko (Triple Jump), Max Plantiko (Shot Put), 4x400 (Pfahler, Adsit, Hayssen, Ducommun)

3RD TEAM- Wesley Barkley (Triple Jump / 200 M / 400 M), Delaney Benjamin (Triple Jump), Chloe Ducommun (Long Jump), Lincoln Gleaser (800 M Run), Boys 4x100 (Schnuelle, VanDeVyver, Holcomb, Wolter), Boys 4x200 (VanDeVyver, Rosenow, Holcomb, Gleaser), Cordell Rosenow (High Jump),

MS PANTHERS ARE HAVING A HISTORIC SEASON!!!

The MS track team has had an incredible season so far this spring! The team is bolstering its biggest roster yet with 30 total athletes. There have been so many tremendous performances at the meets this season. The hard work and competition at practice everyday has led to the great success.

Here is a break down of the conference season:

MARSHALL (4/16)

1st- Sophia Casey (100 M & 200 M), Cordell Rosenow (high jump)
2nd- Boys 4x200 & 4x400, Delaney Benjamin (triple jump)
3rd- Haley Janczak (400 M), Girls 4x200, Adrianna Plantiko (triple jump)

DODGELAND (4/20)

This past Friday the Panthers made the long haul of 2 and a half hours to Brillion for a last chance qualifier for MS State. The team pulled together some clutch performances and shined against great competition in the 15 team invite!

3rd- Boys 4x100, Girls 4x200, Wesley Barkley (triple jump)
5th- Girls 4x100
7th- Haley Janczak (Long Jump), Delaney Benjamin (triple jump), Girls 4x400

THE PROGRAM IS SENDING A RECORD NUMBER 17 ATHLETES TO THE STATE MEET!!! (see picture for state qualifiers)

Coach Wilde could not be more proud and says the team is ready to finish the championship phase of the season strong with the Conference Meet at Deerfield tomorrow 5/19 and MS State at Waupun on 5/23.
