Northern Lights 18u kicks off their season for the third year in a row at the Tiger Classic in Columbia at 6:50 pm this evening. We will play two pool games tonight, catch the Mizzou Tigers softball team in action on Saturday afternoon versus Alabama, finish up pool play on Saturday evening, and compete in bracket play on Sunday.

Northern Lights Softball has ✨ TWELVE ✨ current/former players representing their high school teams at the MSHSAA 2025 Fall Softball Final Four this weekend in Springfield. Best of luck to all, and especially to our current 18u team players Shayden Berndt, Evan Boxley, Riley Clark, Ainsley Cowan, and Kaydence Stockman. We are so proud of you! 🩵♥️ We will be cheering loud and proud for your Princeton Lady Tigers!

Seven years of playing together, and this team has built more than just softball skills. ♥️🩵

This Fourth of July, we spent the evening at Lake Thunderhead, gathered to watch our teammate Makkie perform. We are all so proud of her, and in awe of her talent! 🇺🇸

The night wrapped up with an awesome fireworks show over the water. 🎆

The team may or may not have assisted Makkie in singing the National Anthem before the fireworks show. 🤣

Thanks to the Gilworth family for inviting everyone out! 😊

Solid Weekend in KC! 🥎

Our girls toughed it out in the Kansas City heat this weekend and earned a 2nd place finish in the 18U division of the KC Metro Championship! 🥈💪

Great teamwork and effort all weekend long. Proud of how they showed up and competed! ♥️🩵

Big shoutout to all our softball dads — this one’s for you! 💥 Happy Father’s Day!

The 18u team kicked off the 2025 season in CoMo this weekend at the Tigers Classic. 🐯🐾

We got two pool games in on Friday night. Yesterday, we watched Mizzou take down the top-ranked and previously undefeated Sooners as part of a record crowd of 4,146! 🤩

Rained out today for bracket play, but we are coming home with a second place finish based on pool play! 💪🥈

Great weekend! So happy softball season is back! ♥️🩵🤗
