CALLING ALL WRESTLING PARENTS AND ATHLETES!!
In an exciting turn of events. wrestling has been called step up and show out THIS Friday night for Allen concessions! All local news channels will be there (on Visitor side with us)! Booster is opening BOTH sides of concessions and need your help! We need at LEAST 10 ADULTS and 8 Athletes! Booster board members will be in the concession stand to help the entire evening! Let's rally together for YOUR student athletes and fill these spots!

Princeton wrestling competed at the 6A UIL Region 2 Championship Friday and Saturday. The girls team finished in 5th place with four earning the right to compete next weekend at the UIL state tournament.

Results include:
Paris Kelleher is a 4-time state qualifier and won her 3rd regional championship
Erin Marquez, 2nd
Brianna Tenpenny, 4th
Rebekah Sorrell, 2nd
Alyssa Irons and Addyson Smith will travel as state alternates

Yavier Santiago Laboy started wrestling when he was 15 years old. His favorite thing about wrestling is all the people. He loves all the people he wrestles.

Yavier aka Yavi to his friends also plays soccer and enjoys hanging out with friends and making music.

After high school, Yavier plans to wrestle in the army.

Words to underclassmen: Pay attention, surround yourself with people that are going to constantly push you!

✨SENIOR SHOUTOUT✨

Joshua Pineda has been wrestling since he was 13. His favorite part about wrestling is eating after weigh-ins and beating his opponents.

Josh also participates in swimming and Choir.

Outside of school he enjoys eating and playing his favorite games.

After high school, Josh plans to attend college and be the first member of his family to get a college degree.

Words to underclassmen: Don’t give up on any situation and what life throws at you!

The Princeton wrestling team competed in the district 6-6A wrestling tournament Friday, and 12 wrestlers advanced to the regional tournament this weekend in Allen. Head coach Ryan DeLaVergne was named the District 6-6A girls “Coach of the Year.”
