Weekend recap

Friday — Princeton Speedway
Heat: 6th ➡️ 4th
Feature: 7th ➡️ 7th

The car was fast all night. We just had a tough redraw, pulling the 7, and passing was hard to come by in the feature. Still felt like we had a good piece underneath us.

Saturday — North Central Speedway
Heat: 8th ➡️ 6th

This was a passing-points format, and gaining two spots wasn’t quite enough to lock us into the show.

We started on the pole of the B Main and ran 2nd for most of the race, comfortably in a transfer spot. With two laps to go, someone decided to try and win the B Main in one corner and ended up taking out the top four cars — all of us sitting in transfer positions. That ended our night.

Sunday
Heat: 3rd ➡️ 5th

That put us into another B Main. I was running 4th in a transfer position when I made contact with the frontstretch wall and cut down the right-front tire, ending our night once again.

Still not the results or luck we’ve been looking for, but that’s part of racing. This season hasn’t gone the way I hoped results-wise, but we’re going to keep digging, keep learning, and try to finish the year strong. We’re also already looking ahead and making plans to come back better next season.

It was great to finally make it out to North Central Speedwayand see what James has done with the place. It’s a great facility, and the racing surface was awesome.

A huge thank-you to all of our amazing sponsors who make it possible for us to keep doing what we love.

Now it’s time to get the #42 ready for the WISSOTA 100! 🏁

🏁 Weekend Recap

Friday — Princeton Speedway

Heat: Started 3rd ➡️ Finished 4th
Feature: Started 1st ➡️ Finished 5th

We almost grabbed 4th at the line, but we’ll gladly take another top-5 finish, especially with the stout field of cars we had in front of us. Another solid night and some good progress with the car.

Saturday — Ogilvie Raceway

Heat: Started 4th ➡️ Finished 4th

We made a pretty big change to the car for Saturday, and it seemed promising in the heat race. Unfortunately, that was all the racing we got in before Mother Nature took over and ended the night early.

As always, a huge thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters, friends, and family who make it possible for us to keep doing what we love. We appreciate every one of you

🏁 IT’S RACE DAY AT Princeton Speedway🏁

We’re back at Princeton tonight and ready to get after it! Here’s a quick recap from last weekend:

Friday — Princeton Speedway

Heat: 2nd ➡️ 5th
We were in a redraw spot for most of the race until the nose got caught under the RF, causing the car to push really bad and dropping us back.

Feature: 9th ➡️ 4th
Finally put together a solid feature and moved forward all night. Definitely a step in the right direction!

Saturday

Heat: 6th ➡️ 6th

Feature: 11th ➡️ 11th
We worked our way up to 7th, but a few late-race restarts didn’t go our way and we got shuffled back to 11th.

The car keeps getting better, and we’re looking forward to building on that tonight at Princeton!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing sponsors, supporters, friends, and family who continue to back the #42. We couldn’t do this without you!

See everyone at the track! 🏁

🚨 New merch is coming soon! 🚨

We’re putting our order in this week, so let us know what you’d like!

👕 T-Shirts – $25
🧥 Sweatshirts – $45

Available in black, gray, and blue with pre-order. After that, we’ll have limited quantities of gray and blue available for the rest of the season.

🏁 Saturday’s Results

Heat: Started 4th – DNF
Unfortunately, our gears decided they had enough, ending our heat race early.

Feature: Started 12th – Finished 8th ⬆️
We were able to move forward through the field. A caution late in the race would have been nice—I think we had a couple more spots in us.

The car is getting faster every week. We’re finally starting to put the speed together—now we just need a little luck to start falling our way.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support us. We couldn’t do it without you!

Friday night at Princeton Speedway is in the books, and now it’s race day at Ogilvie Raceway

Friday Results:
🏁 Heat Race: 3rd ➡️ 4th

We’re getting closer every week. The car keeps getting faster, and we’re starting to put the pieces together. We still have some work to do, but the speed is there, and we’re excited to keep building on it

Weekend Update:

Friday night at Princeton… let’s just say the water truck had a more productive evening than we did.

We rolled out for the heat race, and before we could even finish a lap, the transmission decided it was done with the whole situation. Huge credit to the pit crew—they swapped it out so fast they made it look easy and got us back out for the feature. Then the distributor apparently wanted in on the chaos too and quit before I could even complete a lap.

As if the car hadn’t already made its point, the trailer winch broke while loading up. At that stage, all you can do is laugh, because the alternative is standing there arguing with inanimate objects, and they never listen anyway.

The only thing that worked flawlessly Friday night was the cold drinks at Clyde's Wood Fired Grill after the races. And there is 2-1 for people wearing wristbands after the races. Not exactly a trophy, but we’ll count it as a win where it counts.

Saturday was a much better story. We started 5th and finished 3rd in the heat race. In the feature, we started 5th and brought it home 8th. Not the direction we were hoping to go, but after Friday, any night that doesn’t involve a transmission, distributor, and trailer winch all quitting on us feels like progress.

Some weekends you race. Some weekends you get humbled by machinery with a personal vendetta. This one gave us a little of both. On to the next one!

We’ve been a little quiet the last couple of weeks. The results haven’t been where we want them to be, so we’ve spent a lot of time back at the shop going over the car and trying different things to get our #42 machine headed in the right direction.

Saturday - Ogilvie Raceway
🏁 Heat Race: 3rd → 6th
🏁 Feature: 12th → 9th

Not quite the finish we were looking for, but the car showed improvement throughout the night and we’re continuing to learn.

Sunday - Granite City Motor Park
🏁 Heat Race: 6th → 6th
🏁 Feature: Started 11th, running around 6th-7th before a DNF

The heat race was pretty much a one-lane track, making passing difficult. We made some adjustments for the feature, and the car felt much better. Unfortunately, while battling for a top-10 finish and working toward the 6th-7th position, another car got into the wall and left us with nowhere to go.

The car is pretty torn up, but we’ll put in the work this week and get it ready to race again.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, family, friends, and fans for sticking with us. We may not be where we want to be yet, but we’re not giving up. We’ll keep digging and keep working to get this thing where it belongs.
