Princeton FC City EDP Memorial Champions!

City played the group stage under very tough conditions due to continuous rain but delivered very good performances in all three games, securing their spot in the final.

We played the highly ranked Elizabeth team and it was a pretty even game until Wedson Dorsainvil headed a bouncy ball in the area over the goalie to put City ahead 1-0. Eight minutes later City was given a free kick at the top of the 18. Tomas Tanoue, Charles Norfleet and Mattheus Ribeiro, prepared to execute what they had been practicing in training. The three positioned themselves to kick: Tomas feigned to kick the ball followed by Charles who blasted the ball with enough curve directly into the upper right hand corner for a world class goal, celebrated by the entire team and the parents. I the second half City dominated the Elizabeth team and Wedson once again anticipated a defender at the top of the box. He shot with enough power to get past the goalkeeper, finishing the championship game 3-0 and bringing the title to PFC.

Princeton FC Atletico 5–1 Patriot FC 2015 Girls Red
Century United Soccer 2–3 Princeton FC Atletico
These results secured a place in the semi-final on Sunday.

In the semi-final, the team faced a strong Next Level Soccer Academy (NJ) NLSA Surf 2015 Girls Elite side and gave everything in a competitive 3–5 match.

Overall, it was a very positive weekend of development. The girls showed quality, determination, and resilience throughout, responding well in key moments and continuing to grow as a team.

The effort, spirit, and togetherness across the group were outstanding, and the team continues to build a strong identity moving forward.

Proud of the players for representing Princeton FC with commitment and pride.
