Congrats to our 5th quarter Football Team today on an outstanding game. Our Rookie and JV teams fell short but the Varsity boys had their backs and are your 2026 Back Yard Bowl Champions. Heck of a job to the players and coaches and heck of a way to start the season!!

🏈💙💛 IT’S BACKYARD BOWL WEEK! 💛💙🏈

There’s no easing into this football season… we’re starting it with R******D! 🔥

This Saturday, the Princeton Bulldogs make the short trip down the road to The Nest to take on our longtime rivals, the R******d Eagles in the Backyard Bowl!!

From Little League all the way through Friday nights, Princeton vs. R******d just means a little more. Two neighboring communities. Plenty of familiar faces. A whole lot of pride. And for a few hours Saturday… we’re not friends. 😏

We want to see ROYAL BLUE & GOLD filling those visitor stands! Bring the family, make some noise, and come support our Bulldogs as we kick off the 2026 football season! 💙💛

R******d, thanks for having us. We look forward to a great day of youth football…

but we’re coming to ruffle a few feathers in The Nest. 😉🐶🦅

Princeton Little Tar Heel League has some WAFFLES coming your way this fall and winter! 👀🎟️

We’ll be waffling off several different items, and trust us… you’re going to want to keep an eye on this page! 👀🔥

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, PLTL depends on registration fees, sponsorships, concession sales, fundraisers, and the support of our community to continue providing recreational sports opportunities for the children of Princeton and our surrounding communities.

When you participate in one of our fundraisers, you’re doing more than trying to win a great prize—you’re supporting our kids and helping us continue doing what we do. 🏈⚾🥎🏀🏐📣

Today was an incredible day at our Princeton Little Tar Heel League Cheer Camp! 💙💛📣

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event such a success!

First, we’d like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Linsey Dale Team for sponsoring today’s camp. Your generosity and support of our young athletes are greatly appreciated and help make opportunities like this possible.

Thank you to all of our amazing cheer coaches, dedicated volunteers, and the Princeton Middle School cheerleaders who gave their time, energy, and encouragement throughout the day. Your willingness to invest in these young cheerleaders made a lasting impact, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our campers for bringing so much excitement, enthusiasm, and positive attitudes. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

Days like today remind us what makes our league so special—a community that comes together to support our kids.

Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making Cheer Camp a success. We can’t wait to see these young athletes continue to grow this season.

🏈 Joe Phillips Football Camp was a huge success!

We had an awesome day today, and it was great seeing all of our campers learning, competing, making new friends, and having fun. We hope every child left with great memories and even more excitement for football season!

Princeton Little Tar Heel League would like to sincerely thank all of the coaches, parents, and board members who volunteered their time and worked together to make today possible. Events like this cannot happen without people who are willing to step up, serve our children, and support our community.

We would also like to give a special thank-you to the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department for coming out and spraying the campers down with water after camp! It was the perfect way to cool everyone off, and the kids had an absolute blast!

Thank you to every family who participated and trusted us with your children today. We appreciate everyone who helped make the Joe Phillips Football Camp such a positive experience!

The Joe Phillips Football camp is being held this Saturday, August 1st from 8am-12:15pm.

Registration will begin at 7:30 AM. Please check your child in at the registration table even if you pre registered online. The registration table will be set up on the patio of the main building. If you did not sign up online and would still like to attend then you are welcome to do so. Camp is FREE for all thanks to our generous sponsors!

Lunch will be provided to each child at the end of camp.
