The Tigers had a strong showing in Boston this past weekend at Head of the Charles, winning the Champ 4+, taking 3rd place collegiately in the Champ 8+ (5th overall), and finishing as the top “B” boat in the Champ 8+ (placing 15th overall). The Champ 4+ “B” entry finished 6th overall to round out the heavyweight entries.

Next up: the Princeton 3-Mile Chase on November 1st, where the whole squad will be in action in eights and small boats.

TIGERS ON THE PODIUM AT WORLDS 🥈🥉🥉

A massive congrats to the 3 Tigers who claimed podium finishes at the 2026 World Championships in Amsterdam this week. That was some truly insane racing to close out the international season!

David Bewicke-Copley ‘20 and the GB M8+ 🇬🇧 came within 0.06 seconds of the World title in one of the craziest finishes ever in the M8+, ending with silver. Pat Long ‘25 and the Australia M8+ 🇦🇺 weren’t far behind in bronze. Every boat on the M8+ podium went under the previous World Best Time.

In the M1x, Jonas Juel ‘22 🇳🇴 held onto third place by 0.09 seconds to claim a bronze medal of his own.

Awesome racing by all Tigers at the World Championships.
