What a Day ! We will be posting several pictures & updates over the next 24hours. We wanted to congratulate each competitor for your hard work, determination, and success today.

While we had many accomplishments on the ranges, we would be very remiss if we didn’t note our “ most improved “ event this year.

The Hunter & Safety Skills test is a crucial part of the score at both the District & State Tournament.

2 wonderful ladies deserve ALL the credit they could possibly receive for coaching our students weekly with prepared material & weekly review.

Mrs Holly & Mrs Jennifer : “ the Holl-Ey Effect “ our student and Team owe you ladies a Trophy all to yourself as one parent noted today.

Many thanks to each volunteer, coach, and parent that continue to make our TEAM - a VERY Successful FAMILY !

Not only did you, your family, and your friends sell over 800+ BBQ plate tickets ……. But you also found time to continue practicing and WIN the QUWF Shoot !

Ladies & Gents,

We are Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday to resume our practices for our continued journey to winning the District Tournament & making our way to the State Tournament in April !

We will have 3 special guest joining us all the way from Germany 🇩🇪 ! Major Alistar Howard ( USMC ) , his daughter Tenley, and son Tripp will be joining us Sunday for our weekly practice.

Please join me, and our coaching staff in welcoming them back to the states & welcoming them to Princeton NC during their visit.

Week #3 & #4 Update

Great practice today ! We absolutely appreciate all of the support from the coaches / volunteers / and parents that make our Team a success.

Week 4 special highlight for me ( CW ) was seeing 2 young ladies ( Ava & Lauren ) shooting their shotguns for the first time. With a little encouragement & a bit of coaching both young ladies busted several clays & are looking forward to next week already !

Tonight was at Princeton Highschool !

All of the coaches, friends, and family of these wonderful young men would like to congratulate each of them !

These gents have been a part of our Hunter Safety Team for many years & we could not be more excited to see them back on the range this year doing what they also love / participating with the Hunter Safety Team !

REMINDER : our program is based / and founded upon the NCWRC Hunter Safety Program !



Our Hunter Safety Course for all NEW participants will be Wed & Thursday night this week.

5pm - 8:30pm : Coach Peedin’s Classroom at the Highschool.

Each participant must take / pass / and obtain a Hunter Safety Certificate to participate in the program.

This afternoon our Black, Blue, and Gold Teams had their final practice prior to heading to Ellerbe, NC for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission State Hunter Safety Team Tournament. Each of the competitors have worked so hard & continued to make adjustments to the events they are set to compete in.

Please keep each family in your prayers as we travel West later in the week to represent Princeton, NC & all who call our special community home.

In closing - I would like to ask each of you to keep the Murphy Family in your prayers. Each of us will continue to keep Mr. Michael in our prayers until he returns home & is feeling better. Kelly, Landon, and our dear pal Parker : we love you guys !
