Day 2 is complete for the Tigers. Ethan Klidzejs started off hot by pinning East Jessamine Senior and Midway University commit Logan Plummer in 45 seconds. Ethan came up a little short in the blood round with a loss to Daniel Stark of Nelson County.
Elijha Kirby wrestled hard but dropped his bloodround with a rematch from regional tournament against Paducah’s Josh Wauffle. The tigers had a great season. We Thank everyone for their support and look forward to next season!

State tourney 2026 day 1

Day one was eventful. First off Ethan Klidzejs dropped his first match, then came back winning his next 2 matches in consolation, advancing him to day 2.

Secondly, Elijha Kirby wrestled well to the quarterfinal, then was stopped in his quarterfinal match going 2-1 on the day and advanced to day 2

Next up was Justin Klidzejs. Justin was upset in the first round, battled back to win consolation round 1, then was put out of the tournament in consolation round 2.

Finally, Donovan Rogers won his first match, was edged out on his second match then fell in consolation round 2 finishing his season.

Still have 2 alive, let’s go tigers!!
