Celebrating 15 Years in the West Windsor Community!
This month marks a very special milestone for us at Liberty Martial Arts, our 15th anniversary serving the West Windsor community!
When we first opened our doors in 2011, the Acme shopping center looked very different than it does today. The plaza had not yet been renovated and was mostly empty except for a few longtime tenants like Aljon’s Pizza, Century 21, Mr. Lee’s Dry Cleaners, and Sunny’s Gift & Hair Salon.
Over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching the plaza transform, with many new businesses joining the community. Liberty Martial Arts has grown right alongside the community.
During the past 15 years we have: Grown into three different locations within that plaza, eventually expanding into our current and largest location in Ellsworth Plaza.
We’ve Promoted over 100 Black Belts and trained thousands of students from West Windsor and the surrounding communities
One of the things we’re most proud of is seeing the long-term impact martial arts training has had on our students. Many of the kids who started with us as very young children have grown up through our program, earned their black belts, and gone on to attend some of the best colleges in the country.
Today they are building successful careers and becoming leaders in their professions and in the communities where they live. Watching that journey from childhood to adulthood has been one of the greatest rewards of the past 15 years.
Another thing we’re incredibly proud of is that we now even have instructors on our team who were born and raised in the West Windsor community and first walked through our doors as young children. That kind of full-circle story is only possible because of the incredible support from this community.
