My journey to Arizona was quite the journey, I left 9am Wednesday mornimg in a snow storm my truck was fish tailing I was trying to get it undercontrol, l flip it to 4 wheel drive good to go at that point. I ask God if this was a sign l shouldn't go. Then l got to Billings and on my flight, waited while they de-iced it, then l made Dallas. My flight was delayed 2 times, then canceled. So I spent the night at the airport. The morning flight was canceled. Not understanding why other flights were leaving, but not Tuscan. I got a new flight, but at 11.00pm on Thursday. I was also put on stand by for the other flights headed out earlier than 11pm, which was 4 other flights. I couldnt see my name on that list. With a little help, my name showed up with 42 other names on the list. With prayers I got on the flight at 8pm. Thanking God all the way down the walking bridge to the plane that I didnt have to spend another 3 hours waiting. I had spent 24 hours, wondering why was I going through this. Was it to learn patience, my anxiety was also on the edge. Stress makes our minds wonder. Then I realized, I needed to trust God. Psalm 56-4 says; in God I trust, I will not be afraid. Isaiah 30-15 in quietness and trust, is your strength. John 14-1 says; do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God. God puts people in our lives for a reason. While stranded at the Dallas Airport, I had 5 flying friends, all wanting to get to Tuscan. We spent the night in the airport watching out for each other and helping each other get on flights. We went to each flight saying good bye as each one was blessed to fly out. God puts people in our lives for a short time or a long time, but for a reason. But, I know now. I was in that situation, to Trust God. It also helped me with the fear I allow in my mind, to see I can go places and know I will be okay. Psalm 34-4 says; he delivered me from all my fears. Thank you Lord. By the time l made Tuscan l had 2 days with my Son and his family. It was short, but it was a blessing. Better than no time. So My journey on the way home. I left with peace. My Son took me to the airport at 7:00am I made it home 1:10am
