💗 JOHNSON COUNTY SCHOOLS INVITES COMMUNITY TO WEAR PINK MONDAY IN HONOR OF CARISSA

The Johnson County School District is inviting students, staff and community members to wear pink on Monday, Aug. 17, in support of Carissa’s family.

According to the district, pink was Carissa’s favorite color, and wearing it together is intended as a symbol of love, unity and support.

Per her parents’ wishes, all Johnson County schools, including Johnson County Middle School, will be in session Monday. District flags will fly at half-staff in Carissa’s honor.

The district also says counselors and school psychologists will continue to be available to support students and staff.

Please keep Carissa’s family, friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time.

We will be having a Captains meeting for Tuesday nite mixed league at the bowling alley on Thursday the 6 th of August the league will start on August 11th and also the yearly locker rent is due
