Just want to brag on my new braiding bestie, Alahna Beaudet!! She had posted on her FB page that she wanted to learn to braid about a month ago. I reached out bc she’s super local to me and offered to teach her. This girl showed up with 12 hours notice to my farm to watch me braid one before she went to work after our initial meeting, then stuck it out for all of Colonial Classic staying up all night long holding horses, helping take out braids, etc. Today she came over to practice braiding down and with very little supervision from me (I literally checked in once bc I was redoing a fence line) braided down, pulled up and tied off this horses mane. Seriously so proud and impressed with her. This is her literal first attempt ever and the mane was a bit longer than ideal and it was roughly the surface of the sun outside. So excited to continue to watch her learn and improve! P.S.- don’t hate me, I’m proud of you🤣💕
