Hurricane Isaias Promotion Night for those Jr/Sr students who REFUSED to reschedule or postpone 😤 💪 (Of course, we missed a few due to the inclement weather and will recognize them at the next class.) But, this group right here is special. One of the most close-knit teen/preteen groups who build one another and train hard for each other. No one gets left behind, they all pull together. It has been rewarding watching them overcome challenges and grow. We are fortunate to also have a big group not far behind them awaiting the next date of promotions.

Congratulations to Shiloh 💜 She has grown up in the Dojo, from starting as a Little Beginner to now leading the Little Beginners, as well as serving as an intregal leader in the Jr/Sr and Advanced classes. She is usually the first to open the Dojo and one of the last to close it every class. She outworks everybody. She never sits out a match, no matter the size or rank of her sparring partner. Now, one of the highest ranking students in the Dojo, she sets the standard for the other students and has built an incredible group.

Proud to promote: 4th Kyu-Purple. Excited to see the growth from here 🙌

Color wars by night (black headbands vs white headbands), with the Teens/Tweens 😊 There were no winners, just all out war. We finally called a truce so we could hydrate 😅.

One of the cutest dojo socials yet! The Karate Kid movie, games, pizza and popcorn, and lots and lots of energy and fun 😊 We had only one student who finished the entire movie 🤩 even with all the noise from the kids' games in the background 😄.

Great day at The Albertville Open Martial Arts Tournament! Thank you Matt Roeder, Alisha Roeder, and The Albertville Karate Academy for all of the work that went into coordinating and overseeing logistics for such a successful, large scale event.
