The wrestlers are going to be released tomorrow at 2:15p.m. from class. We will meet by the concession stand in front of the gym. We will make sure everyone has a ride and then leave for St. James. Pappy drove there yesterday from Calera and it took 50 minutes to get there. We need a few parents willing to drive other wrestlers with them. Pappy is going to meet us at St. James after weigh ins. I will be able to take three wrestlers with me. Wrestlers are the first priority tomorrow in getting to St. James with rides. If you can take wrestlers please let us know. We have to be at St. James by 4:00 for weigh ins. If you choose to stay in Montgomery for the night that is fine otherwise ALL WRESTLERS must have a ride home or a place to stay. I will be visiting family in Prattville so I won’t be traveling back to Calera or able to take someone back to Calera. Make sure you make plans to get a ride home to Calera and return on Saturday or you have a place to stay in Montgomery. I also want to thank everyone for helping with the auction last week it was a great success and early numbers are showing that the CAA raised almost 15,000 dollars. Thursday night at 5:30 Calera High School is having a match to honor Trent Grubbs. We can hardly wait!!! Please all get the word out and don't forget to wear your Team Trent Shirts. Trent is now a member of the Calera wrestling team. We will walk and wrestle until you can. We are getting signs ready and we will be making pictures and a video. We look forward to a wonderful turn out and meeting many Team Trent Members. If you know of others who are not on Team Trent please invite them to join. The match is open to the public so please spread the word and let's all uplift Trent Thursday as well as each day. See you there. If you need directions , we are off of Hwy. 25 going toward Montevallo, You will pass the Middle School, Football Stadium and turn left past Calera public library go up the hill to stop sign and continue forward and the gym is on the left. Let's Go Team Trent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Team Trent is on Facebook , he is a very special young man , to all my family and friends please become a Team Trent Friend, He is in UAB Hospital with a spinal cord injury . Help us to lift this 16 year old young man and walk until he walks again . Thanks to all . xoxooxxoxoxo

Today we will leave immediately after the boys get to the middle school for Homewood since weigh ins are at 4:00p.m. We are taking cars today and tomorrow to Homewood. From Coach P - We will be taking a bus today to Fultondale. I will pick up the wrestlers and we will come back to the middle school check weight and leave for Fultondale. We should be on the road heading to Fultondale from the middle school by 3:30 at the latest.

The boys will be taking the bus to Cleburne Co. in the morning - they have to be there by 7:00 for weigh in, so they need to be at the MS - ready and with ALL of their wrestling gear - between 4:30 - 4:45, DO NOT BE LATE, the bus has to get on the road no later than 5:00 in order to get the boys there on time.

Weigh In- 7:00 - 8:00 AM
Wrestling begins at 9:00 AM

Not sure about the admission cost.

Today we will meet at the middle school at 3:15 weigh in and check our weight. We will leave the middle school at 3:30 by bus for Holtville High School. Please make sure you are at the middle school by 3:15. Also I want to remind everyone that our first home match is Thursday. Unfortunately, any wrestlers that haven't paid their fifty dollars for discount cards won't be allowed to wrestle in the home match Thursday and any matches from Thursday forward until discount cards are paid for. The cost of the cards are $50 dollars and the were not included in the spirit pack. Please make sure you give the cash or check to me so I can receipt it to the CAA. This is a new rule established by the CAA about participating if you haven't paid. Every athlete who participates in a sport at Calera has to sell or pay for their discount cards. Once again I must have the discount card money by Thursday before the match or your son won't be able to wrestle. Thanks I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Please communicate with each other to make sure everyone knows to be here tomorrow. Hope ya'll had a great Christmas and New Year!
