POOL NEWS!!

Due to colder temps, we will not have Adult swim and the pool will open at 2.

So I had someone come up to the pool and they were just bewildered that the pool was not open. I get it. It is bright and shiny.

However, we are not allowed to open and close based on number of clouds in the sky. So while it was pretty bright and sunny……. The following picture is actually what the pool has to monitor.

Every lightning strike within 12 miles closes the pool for another 30 mins. So, although it is nice and shiny, lightning is still all around us.

Right now, we have had 5-6 strikes within 5 miles but in excess of 500 strikes within 25-30 miles.

I can assure you, if it were safe to be open, we would be open.

Due to multiple and consistent lightning strikes, we have decided to close the pool for the rest of the day. Stay safe and we will be open again tomorrow!

Next generation of lifeguards being trained!! This is 8 of the 9 new guards that we will have out patrolling the waters.

They are doing their pool work here early in the AM so they can try and be done or at least exclusively in the deep end by the time our Adult Swim takes place.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Pratt pool will be closed due to weather!!!

It does look like it will be in the upper 80’s to mid 90’s all the way to mid June!!

Pratt Pool is closed for the rest of the day. Lightning in the area and the temperature dropping below 75 degrees is the reason.

FYI...... tomorrow does not look good either.
