Each day at UCA we present one girl with “Cheerleader of the Day”. Cheerleader of the Day is awarded to a cheerleader who represents what it means to be a Pirate Cheerleader. This person demonstrates leadership, teamwork, positivity, dedication, and a commitment to making the team better. They are recognized not only for their skills, but for their attitude, effort, and the way they support those around them.

WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR PIRATES! 💚☠️📣

Our girls worked hard all week at camp, and their efforts truly paid off!

After an unexpected setback on Day 1 when we were down a cheerleader due to a broken bone, our team was faced with the challenge of quickly redesigning routines, formations, and stunt groups. Instead of letting adversity slow them down, these girls stepped up, adapted, and continued to give their all.

As we begin preparing for the 2026–2027 cheer season, we are reaching out to local businesses and community members for donations to help support our cheerleaders throughout the year. Contributions will help provide cheer necessities such as camp expenses, practice and game-day supplies, uniforms, spirit materials, team-building activities, and other needs that arise during the season.
