We’re excited to have a Sauk Prairie Wrestling float in the Cow Chip Parade again this year on Saturday, and we’d love to have a BIG group of wrestlers representing our program!

We’re inviting **all Sauk Prairie wrestlers** to walk or ride with us in the parade. We’ll be handing out candy, promoting the wrestling club, and showing the community what Sauk Prairie Wrestling is all about. The kids always have a great time, and having a strong turnout is also a great way to get more families interested in joining wrestling.

**Wear your Sauk Prairie Wrestling shirts and bring your medals!** The kids along the parade route love seeing the wrestlers wearing their medals, and it’s a fun way for our athletes to show their Eagle pride.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to walk with us, but if your wrestler is old enough to participate on their own, you’re also welcome to drop them off and pick them up afterward.

**Our parade number is #35.** I believe our staging location will be on the **east side of Sycamore between Bates and Kennedy**, but I will confirm that as soon as I hear back from the parade committee. We will meet there around 11am to setup the float.

# # # One More Way to Support Sauk Prairie Wrestling

We’re also running a **brat, burger, and hot dog stand at The Shoe Box in Black Earth on Sunday from 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.** as a fundraiser for the club.

Our fundraising came up a little short last year, so opportunities like this will be important in helping support the program and our wrestlers this season. We still have a few volunteer spots that need to be filled, and we’d really appreciate the help!

Day 2 of the Iron Sharpens Iron Team Wrestling Camp

The boys stayed undefeated going 3-0 in duals making it 5-0 overall.

The girls had a great day as well going 2-1 in duals making them 4-1 overall.

Both Max Schroeder and Maggie Barrett won their individual freestyle tournaments.

Day 1 of Iron Sharpens Iron Team Wrestling Camp in the books. Kids started camp out strong winning both of their duals, going 2-0 on the day. Both boys and girls. Took 3rd in our pool for Team Olympics. Video of that coming soon.

Special thanks to Sauk Prairie Sports Boosters and Sauk Prairie Wrestling Club for making this camp possible.

I love this camp because not only do the kids get a ton of awesome technique sessions and a lot of duals/competition, they also have some down time to have fun and bond as a team.
